Martha got us safely to Bethany Beach... a quiet town
on the Delaware coast.

This little guy was here to greet us. We named him Herbie and he was with us the entire time we were there at the condo. |

On we go to spend a day in Dover. There are so many
historical places there and wonderful museums to visit.

This is the Zwaanendael Museum that was built in 1931 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the first European settlement in Delaware. The exhibits in the museum illustrated the rich history of the Sussex county and it maritime connections:: the 1631 Dutch Settlement, the 1798 shipwrecked Brig DeBraak, the War of 1812 Lewes bombardment, the Cape Henlopen Highthouse and other changing exibits. |
